From start to finish, working with Awar Electric was a great experience."

"Awar Electric did a great job installing my outdoor patio fan. After contacting them, I received a prompt reply and easily scheduled the service. I shared photos of the new fan and where it was to be installed. The technician was professional and showed up at the time & date promised. I provided the fan (still in its original packaging), and he removed and hauled away the old fan and installed the new fan and wall remote without any issues. Everything works as it is supposed to. An invoice was emailed to me, and they accept many forms of payment. I would use their services again!"

"Great communication, knowledge, and work. Efficient, thorough, and considerate. Great experience, the owner truly went above and beyond. He fit me in for an urgent issue and worked wonderfully with another contractor to troubleshoot some things and followed up to ensure it was still resolved. Absolutely above and beyond recommend."

"We used them to install an electric double drive gates. Ryan came out to give an estimate and took time to look at everything so he could put together the estimate. Everything was done efficiently, and we couldn't be happier with the quality of their work. I would definitely recommend them."

"Super friendly and knowledgeable. Ryan does amazing work. I was a little nervous because I needed to have town of Wake Forest inspect the work done outside for my upcoming pergola install. The inspector could not rave more about Ryan’s work saying how rare it is to have things done well and nearly the first time around. I will absolutely use Awar electric for everything now. I have full confidence in his work, and the inspectors agree."

"Great service and cleaned up after themselves. Very much recommended 👍"

"Words cannot do justice to how pleased I am with Ryan and Awar Electric. I contacted Ryan less than a week ago regarding installing a whole-house, 50-amp generator socket so we could use our own generator. Ryan came out within 24 hours to do a quick inspection and gave me a quote, which I accepted, and permits were pulled the next day. Installation happened a day early, which was great! The final installation looks professional, clean, and as if it were part of the original house build. I would not hesitate to use Ryan again, and I would definitely not hesitate to recommend his services. If you have anything electrical that you need done, call Ryan. You will not be disappointed."

"Ryan and Karla did excellent work. They refurbished an electrical panel and installed several ceiling fans. They are nice people and highly responsive."

"Ryan came in and completely reinvented our neighborhood entrance light scheme that was 35 years old and needed refreshing for sure. We had bad ground wires, leaking electrical boxes and needed two new high voltage light arrays to illuminate the entrance. He installed two transformers, dug all the trenching and each side has four spots. He wired all of the lights to the existing light meter and upper lights so they come on and go off together. There is no way solar would work for this properly. Great job!"

"Superb service! From the moment Ryan answered the phone , he was professional , kind , knowledgeable..He came over first to check what I thought was an emergency and returned and next business day repaired several outlets and the fluorescent lights in my closet and advised on other issues outside of his expertise. He brought help and she was wonderful as well. The cost was under what was quoted from another company that responded late to my call. I would have paid double what he charged. If I ever need any electrical work for my home , I will definitely call again..thank you"

"Ryan and his small but mighty team at Awar Electric are the only people I trust in my house. Ryan has been a valued vendor for nearly 10 years and I can't imagine using anyone else. Not only is he a master of his craft, but he's a good person - we are not his biggest customer but we are treated like we are, every.single.time. I've worked with a lot of solid electricians in the past but this company's approach to customer service, urgency, quality and fair pricing has made me a customer for life. If I'm honest, I do not post reviews often and he didn't ask me to do this. but he's that good and you won't regret going with Awar Electric."

"Among other things, replaced a ceiling fan in our living room which has a twenty-foot ceiling. Like having a highly skilled member of the family. Absolutely superb in every way."

"We started using Awar for our residential properties after getting a referral off a Facebook group. SOOOO glad I found them!! Such an amazing company. They have come all the way to Angier, Garner, Raleigh, WF etc. We even had them come to replace some LED bulbs, which ended up being a 6 hour multi-light replacement, fan box installment, etc. and they were completely professional, respectful and didn’t shame me for having no idea what was going on (lol). Highly recommend! Such a hidden gem."

It took a bit of time to schedule due to the holidays but Ryan coordinated all permits, he and his helper showed up on time and completed the job within 2 hours. The install required splitting some breakers, installation of a 15’ run of cable and installation of a box on the exterior of my home. The wake forest inspector gave the installation glowing reviews."

"Great work!"

"I had an excellent experience with Awar Electric and highly recommend them for any electrical needs. Their attention to detail was top notch as they took the extra time to perfect a complex lighting installation. Their communication prior to arriving and throughout the installation process were clear and informative. Contact Awar Electric when you want high quality work performed for a fair price and you’ll have peace of mind knowing the job is done right. Plus they cleaned up before they left!"

I have text him several times in the past with different questions regarding electrical issues around my house and he responds very quickly. His pricing is very reasonable. Ryan Awar is my recommendation here in Wake Forest. Great company!"

"Absolutely Exceptional Electrician – Highly Recommend! We’ve had the pleasure of working with Ryan and his team over the past two years across two of our homes in Wake Forest, and every experience has been phenomenal. They’ve handled a wide range of projects for us — from large, complex jobs like installing a whole-house generator, replacing the exterior service panel, adding a 3rd and new subpanel, and running dedicated circuits, to smaller tasks like installing over 50 smart switches and receptacles, replacing fan light kits, mounting TVs, and setting up cameras. In every single case, their work has been top-notch. The quality, professionalism, and attention to detail are second to none. They take great pride in doing the job right the first time, and it really shows. The team is courteous, efficient, and consistently leaves the workspace clean and tidy. A special mention goes to Karla, who is absolutely outstanding — she goes above and beyond every step of the way, keeping communication clear and making sure everything runs smoothly and gets done to our level of expectations. Ryan is truly the best electrician we’ve worked with, and we only have good things to say."

"I hired Ryan replace an overhead light fixture with a ceiling fan. He arrived right at the time he scheduled with me. He was professional, friendly, his pricing was reasonable, and I'm very satisfied with the installation. I just moved in and the fan was a top priority, so that's all I had him do today, but I will definitely be calling him for other electrical jobs in the future."

"I have contracted Ryan to work on two projects with one being a full kitchen remodel. This will have been my sixth kitchen remodel in 20 years and working with Ryan was the smoothest most collaborative experience ever! My wife kept changing specs on lighting etc. and he just rolled with the punches (so did I)! The results were astounding as there were not only under cabinet lights, but several accent cabinet lights and recessed lights as well! You can see for yourself 8106 Sommerwell, Raleigh. BTW he did all this while anxiously awaiting the arrival of a new child!!! Ryan is the first person to call for all your electrical needs and you will probably gain a friend as well..."

When it came to installing the three island pendants, Ryan spent so much time getting them at the right height and he meticulously worked on them for a long time. It was quite a workout for him, but he was so pleasant and professional and made sure they were how I wanted them. He cleaned up everything when he was finished. We needed several new outlets added, and what could have been a simple job was handled with the care and precision of a much larger project. From the very first call to the final cleanup, everything was absolutely flawless. They arrived right on time, worked efficiently without cutting any corners, and left the place spotless. Ryan is incredibly meticulous — every connection was perfect, everything was clearly labeled, and his attention to detail really shows. The best part? We passed the county electrical inspection with ZERO comments or corrections the first time. The inspector even remarked how clean and code-compliant everything was, which says a lot.
